Overview

This help article describes the reports available in Atlas.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Interface

Under the Reports menu you find various reports, such as All Cases, All Checklists All Grids, etc.

All Cases

Think of cases as tasks. You can create and assign tasks from within the All Project grid, a milestone owner assignment, or from the top right corner New Case option.

The All Cases report lists all cases created in your organization. You can filter the data by columns and save your changes as a new report.

All Checklists

The All Checklists report displays all checklists items from all projects. You can update the project status by right clicking on the checklist row, as well as add an update note.

All Dashboards

The All Dashboards report shows all public dashboards. A dropdown menu allows you to select whether to show all dashboards, or only the ones from active users, or only from inactive users. Once selected, you can click on the Export button and export the data as a CSV file. Further, once selected, the dashboards will be presented below in the sand colored box. To open the dashboard, double-click, and a new tab of the dashboard will open.

All Grids

You can create multiple grids or report from the All Projects report. Within the All Grids report you can view and search all the grids that were created, either by you or your colleagues. To open the grid/report, double click on a grid row.

As an admin, you can right click and rename or delete a grid.

Budget vs Actuals Report

This report shows two charts, on the left Actual vs Forecast by Quarter, and on the right Budget vs Actual by Quarter. Below the charts are the budget and actual details listed by project. The Budget vs Actuals Report presents portfolio level, not project level data. It presents the same information as the one you can find when opening a project and follow this path: project info > overview > economics. Not all COGS data is presented, only top level 1 values.

To hide or unhide rows related to projects in the project list, click on Collapse All in the menu bar. To define which projects to show in the projects list, click on the dropdown menu next to Project and select the projects you wish to see. By selecting the demand type and the reporting stage, you decide what information is being represented in the charts. To export the presented data, click on the Export icon. To only view the project list, and hide the charts, click the Charts icon in the top menu bar.

Cash Management Report (CMR)

Cash Management Report (CMR) provides the cash flow status for inflow of cash based on the ASP/Prices screen, and the cash flow status for outflow of cash based on the Cashflow Forecast screen.

CMR offers 3 different views:

  • 13 Week Forecast

  • 6 Quarter Forecast

  • 12 Months Forecast

COGS Stagegate Report

In the COGS screen COGS revisions can be approved for each reporting stage. The same concept applies here. The COGS Stagegate Report provides the same information on a portfolio level.

Click on the Project dropdown menu to select projects for review. Click on the Chart button to hide the charts, only the list will be visible then. Click on the Export button to export the data as an Excel file. Select COGS Amount or GPM Amount to either show the one or the other on the right side of the two presented charts.

Project Spend Summary Report

This report shows a summary of projects by demand type and reporting stage and their respective spending by COGS.

Project Variance Report (PVR)

The project variance report (PVR) compares current data with previously entered data. This report offers two views. The main view is called Overview, it shows charts comparing data from different times. You can also filter the data by country, demand type and reporting stages.

You can select and view different snapshots from the dropdown option. By default a monthly snapshot is taken on the 1st of every month. If you are an Atlas admin, you will be able to create manual snapshots of data, rename and delete a snapshot, and change configurations by using the options menu.

The variance section of the PVR report compares some of the key data points, and the variance between them.

Slippage Report

When opening the slippage report, you see the changes that were made within a project's milestone, ASP, or COGS screens. For the example slippage report below, I choose that changes of dates to the milestone design freeze should be recorded/part of the slippage report. I defined this criteria in Settings > Configure > Slippage Report. Then I changed the start date of the milestone design freeze from 10/5/2022 to 10/12/2022 in the project's milestone screen. The below shown slippage report presents the old start date and the new start date.
