Sort & Filter
There are many ways to filter and sort in Atlas.
- Filter by column and column input
1. Click on the map pin icon next to the name of the column (i.e. product) based on which you want to filter your project list
2. A dropdown menu will open. Select the inputs (i.e. C&I, PV Only,...) for filtering, and click OK.
- Filter by column and by typing in input
1. Choose the blank space below a column name to type in the input you want to filter for
2. By clicking on the map pin icon next to the blank space you can specify if you want to only filter for entries that begin with your input, that contain your input, that do not end with your input, and so on. If you use the blank space to look for values rather then words, i.e. ASP ($/W), then the dropdown options for filtering will be different (equals, is less than,...)
Another great way to sort and filter is to explore the Sort & Filter dropdown menu. In the Project list, select Sort & Filter, a dropdown menu will appear which will present you with different filtering options
- Sort A to Z, or Sort Z to A
1. Click the column based on which you want to filter your project list
2. Select Sort & Filter, and then click on Sort A to Z, or on Sort Z and A
3. This filter will automatically filter your project list from A to Z, or from Z to A, based on which filter option and the column you chose
- Custom Sort
1. Click on Sort & Filter and then click on Custom Sort, the Sort Manager window will pop up
2. Choose one of the columns as shown in the dropdown list, and choose its sorting order (ascending, descending, none). Then click OK
3. To add a second sorting option, click on New Sort, and follow step 2
4. To delete an additional sorting option, click on Delete Sort
5. If you have multiple sorting options, and want to change their order, click on the sorting option and press the Up or Down button
- Custom Filter
1. Click on Sort & Filter and then click on Custom Filter > Project #, a new window will appear
2. Write down the project numbers you want to filter for, or if you copied some project numbers earlier, you can also paste them in here. Then press OK. Only the projects with these project numbers will now be presented in the project list.
3. To clear the filter, look on the bottom right corner and click clear
- Show/Hide FilterRow
1. Click on Sort & Filter and then click on Show/Hide FilterRow. You do this if you want to hide the filter row (marked area in red), or when you want to show the filter row again after hiding it
2. When your filter row is showing, you can filter the entire project grid by specific column/s.
For example, if you want to filter the Project Name column by projects starting with the word 'test', you need to
a.) click on the icon highlighted in green and select Begins with
b.) write 'test' into the filter row (highlighted in blue) and hit enter on your keyboard
3. To clear the filter, look on the bottom right corner and click clear
- Clear Filter
Click on Sort & Filter and then click on Clear Filter. The applied filter will be removed.
- Group By Box
1. Click on Sort & Filter and then click on Group By Box. Now you can easily drag and drop columns where it says Drag a column here to group by that column to group the data accordingly.
2. Change the order of the grouping by rearranging (drag and drop) the position of the grouped columns.
3. Return to the original All Projects Grid by dragging the columns back.
- Expand All
When you Grouped By Box, you can view more details of the selected boxes by choosing Expand All. Click on Sort & Filter and then click on Expand All.
- Collapse All
When you Grouped By Box, and choose to view more details of the selected boxes, but want to see fewer information, you select Collapse All. Click on Sort & Filter and then click on Collapse All.
