This article describes the right click options in the projects list and project tabs.

Right Click Options Project Tabs


Assuming you have three tabs open, such as All Cases, All Grids, and COGS Stagegate. If you right-click on COGS Stagegate, you can either close all tabs, or you can close other tabs, in this case only All Cases and All Grids, but not COGS Stagegate.

In the All Projects Grid, select one project row, or multiple project rows by pressing down the ctrl button on your keyboard, and right-click with your mouse. A pop up window will appear and offer you a range of features.

 


  • Notify me when this changes

Click on Notify me when this changes and select On selected Project(s) if you want to get notified when something changes with the selected projects. Another option add a filter to your grid, then click on Notify me when this changes and select as per current grid Filter(s). This way you will get notified if something changes in the projects you filtered for.


  • Remind me when its due

Scroll to a date column in your All Projects Grid, then right click on a project and choose Remind me when its due.

  • Tasks

When selecting Tasks you can make edits to the project status, a project, financial aspects and sales. 


1.) In the All Projects Grid, right click on one or multiple projects, go to Tasks > Project Status and put them on hold, cancel or resume. When selecting cancel, the project will be invisible. You can find the canceled projects when filtering for them in the Options menu. When you put a project on hold or cancelled it, you may select resume and change its status to being fully active again.




2.) Under Tasks > Project > you can make the following changes:

 

2.1 Apply a project team template

Setting up a project team template in Atlas is one of the first tasks that should perform. Go to Settings > Configure > Team Template. A new tab will open. Now a.) add a project role (selecting as many as you wish and click OK, then assign a person to the role), or b.) clone a team template or c.) delete a team template. When done, click Save Changes




2.2 Change the demand type (choose in plan, or opportunity)


2.3 Change the product (choose utility solar, C&I, RSC, wind, solar water pumps, hybrid, biomass, other, rural, hydro,         transmission, EV grid, storage, PV only, or PV+ storage)


2.4 Change the official reporting stage (choose none, lost, or financial reporting)


2.5 Change the project team 

To change the project team, you must have set up a project team template. Once done, follow the path Tasks > Project > Change Project Team and click on a project role, for example Incentives Coordinator. A dropdown menu will appear with the names of your colleagues. If you do not see the name of your colleague that you want to assign this role to, click on Manage Project Roles.






A pop up window will open. Search for the person you want to add for the project role and click Add.



2.6 Change milestone date

Go to Tasks > Project > Change Milestone Date.





 A window will open. Select the milestone you want to update, define its start and end date, and click OK.



2.7 Change milestone owner/case 

To change the owner of a milestone, go to Tasks > Project > Change Milestone Owner/Case.




A window will open. Select the milestone you want to update, define its its lead, and click OK.



2.8 Change milestone plan template 

To change the milestone plan template, go to Tasks > Project > Change Milestone Plan Template. A new pop up window will open. Choose the new project plan for this project from the dropdown menu and click OK. Be aware that changing the project plan will delete any existing milestones that are not part of the new project plan.



2.9 Clone a project

To duplicate a project, go to Tasks > Project > Clone a Project. A new pop up window will open. Select the areas you want to be included. The project cloning process will now begin, once completed, you will be notified via email.  



2.10 Download All Latest documents

To download all the latest documents, go to Tasks > Projects. Once you select Download all of the latest documents, the downloading process will begin (a Zip folder will be created with all latest document and complete hierarchy).

  • Generate Mail Merge

When you select the Right Click Option Generate Mail Merge, the below window will pop up. Choose the Normal or Multi Project option. In the normal mail merge, each project will be put on a single page, while in the multi project mail merge, the projects will be listed on one page. If you previously already uploaded a template, then go ahead and select your template from the dropdown menu and click OK. 



If you have not uploaded any templates yet. Then do the following:

1. Go to the Settings menu in the top right corner of the Atlas interface, select Configure in the drop-down menu, and select Mail Merge in the drop-down menu


2. A new tab called Configure Mail Merge will open. Create a new template by clicking New in the left corner 


3. A new window called New Mail Merge Template will open. Add a template name and description, and select a file


Make sure your file follows the following format {Area:Column}, see pictures below. Click OK to upload your new template


Here is another example: 





4. Go to your Projects List, right click into a column, and select Generate Mail Merge


5. Select your template


6. The mail merge is automatically being created.


  • Cases

Click on Cases > New Case and a new window will open. Give the new case a title, define priority, due date, assign it to a team member and add a description. Then press OK.


  • Upload

Click Upload to upload documents to your project.
