Overview

This article describes the necessary steps to connect MS Project with Atlas.



1. Sign-in to Microsoft  https://project.microsoft.com

2. Click on Go to Project Online


 


3. Click on Create or Import Projects. Then copy or note down the Site Url from the address bar for configuration

 

 


4. Select the kind of project you want to create and click on next

5. Enter the basic info, such as Project Name etc. and press finish

6. Edit and update the Project ID (it should match with Atlas' Project Number). Click on the Save icon

 

 


 

 

7. Add task/schedule details. Click on Save and Publish the schedule


 

 

 8. In Atlas, go to Settings > Integrations > MS Project. Enter all the credentials (username, password and Site Url). Click on Validate & Save

 

 

 

 

9. To sync MS Project with Atlas, open a project in Atlas (i.e. example below is called Alameda – Berkeley (CA-13-0357)). Go to  Project Management > Milestone. Click on the Sync MS Project button. 

 

Congratulations, you successfully configured MS Project!
